Falls Creek is back on the radar!

Falls Creek is one of the West Coast Classic grade V whitewater runs. However, for the last five years it has been off the radar to kayakers, due to a locked gate and access issues. This, combined with the fact that the “usual suspects” for Falls Creek descents became parents has meant that Falls Creek has lain dormant for half a decade….

Recently, the land owner has agreed to allow access to some local kayakers and yesterday, the 5^th of December, 2012 Falls Creek had its reintroduction to the passage of kayakers.
